Zambia Pushes Back Against U.S. Demands Tied to Health and Minerals Deal

Zambia has accused the United States of linking a proposed $2 billion health package to demands for data sharing and access to critical minerals, calling some conditions "unacceptable." Foreign Affairs Minister Mulambo Haimbe stated that the government refused parts of the proposed pact due to violations of citizens' privacy rights.
