Vanguard screens 180 staff for ‘silent killers’

Vanguard Media Limited conducted a free health outreach to screen for hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, and prostate diseases, particularly targeting employees aged 40 and above. Over 180 staff members participated in this initiative aimed at promoting early detection and healthier lifestyles. Technical Consultant Mr. Patrick Oduone emphasized the importance of knowing cholesterol levels, which are often overlooked compared to blood pressure. Employees requiring further medical attention based on their results will be followed up.
