North-West: Three Dead and Four Injured in Armed Attack in Bamenda

On September 14, 2026, an armed attack occurred in the Back PMI neighborhood of Bamenda, resulting in three deaths and four injuries. The deceased victims were identified as Bana Emile, 27, Verla Fabrice, 23, and Bomnuy Albertine, 20. The injured were evacuated to the Regional Hospital of Bamenda after receiving initial care at the PMI medical center in Nkwen. The Mezam prefect condemned these acts of violence and called for community collaboration to prevent future incidents.
