UN finds looted gold, gum arabic bankrolling Sudan war - Daily Post Nigeria

An OHCHR report finds looted gold and gum arabic are funding Sudan's war. The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and Rapid Support Forces (RSF) use these sales. At least 3,700 tons of gum arabic were stolen between January and June 2024. Smuggling routes include Chad, Egypt, Kenya, and Libya.
