Ex-Premier League Star Jermaine Pennant Needs More Than 50 Stitches After German Shepherd Attack

Former Liverpool and Stoke City winger Jermaine Pennant needed more than 50 stitches after a German Shepherd bit his right leg while he was walking his dogs in north London. His dog King intervened and fought off the attacker, sustaining only a small bite. Pennant received hospital treatment for four bite wounds and shared a photo of his bandaged leg, thanking his partner, Mimmi Montgomery, for looking after them. He said he chose not to report the attack to police.
