Spanish footballer revived in ambulance after collision during match

During the second-division match between CD Tenerife and FC Andorra, Jesús de Miguel and goalkeeper Jesús Owono collided violently in stoppage time with the score tied 2-2. Tenerife striker de Miguel, 29, collapsed and suffered cardiac arrest while being transported to hospital by ambulance. Medical responders revived him before he was admitted to intensive care; his condition was described as critical, but his life was not considered at risk. The referee ended the match after the player was evacuated.
