Police confirm attack on Kwara community

The Kwara State Police Command confirmed an attack on the Police Mobile Force Camp at Nuku Village in the Kaiama Local Government Area. The attack, which occurred in the early hours of April 10, 2026, resulted in the deaths of five forest guards. Police Commissioner Ojo Adekimi expressed condolences to the families of the deceased and condemned the attack, assuring that tactical operations are underway to track down the perpetrators.
