$200 million Zamfara Lithium Processing Plant to generate 2,000 jobs

Governor Dauda Lawal unveiled a $200 million lithium mining and processing plant in Boko, Zurmi Local Government Area, Zamfara State. The plant, expected to create 2,000 jobs, is a joint investment by Zam Mining Company Ltd, Bima Mines Ltd, Jinlide Mining Co. Ltd, and other partners. The governor described the project as the beginning of a new era for responsible mining and economic diversification in the state.
