The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) announced that fuel prices in Kenya will remain unchanged from July 15 to August 14, 2026. In Nairobi, super petrol costs Ksh214.03 per litre, diesel Ksh222.86, and kerosene Ksh191.38. The government extended the 8% VAT on petroleum products and used Ksh945 million from the Petroleum Development Levy to ensure stability. Landed costs dropped significantly, with super petrol falling 21% and diesel 19.8%.
