Abia LGA Chairmen's tenure won't terminate in November 2026 - Governor Otti

Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, stated that the tenure of the current Chairmen and Councillors in the 17 LGAs will end in 2028, not in November 2026. He clarified that the law regarding the tenure was amended by the Abia Parliament before the 2024 elections. Otti also expressed concern over the rising cases of serious illnesses among young Nigerians.
