Michel Platini files complaint against Gianni Infantino for influence peddling and slander

Michel Platini filed a complaint on Monday against FIFA president Gianni Infantino for slander and influence peddling, also targeting two former FIFA officials. The complaint, which includes a civil party lawsuit, will lead to the appointment of an investigating judge. Platini had previously filed two simple complaints in 2018 and 2021, both dismissed. He is also initiating civil proceedings against FIFA to seek compensation for damages related to his removal from the 2015 presidential race.
