Deputy Senate President Barau removes aide over ‘Abba Must Go’ Post

Deputy Senate President Senator Barau I. Jibrin has removed his Special Legislative Aide, Umar Alhassan, due to social media posts deemed disrespectful to Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf. Alhassan, known as King Indara, posted the slogan ‘Abba Must Go’ on Facebook. The decision was announced by Barau’s Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Shitu Madaki Kunchi, who emphasized that such behavior contradicts the values of discipline and respect expected from officials.
