Nigerians will pay less for transport in October - Tinubu

President Bola Tinubu announced that Nigerians will pay less for transport starting October 2026. This decision is part of the National Affordable Compressed Natural Gas Transit Programme, following a meeting with the governors of the 36 states. An implementation committee has been established to identify priority transport corridors and put necessary interventions in place, in response to the current global energy crisis.
