War in Ukraine: Kiev surpasses FPV drone and promises a 'surprise' to Russia

Kyrylo Boudanov, head of the Ukrainian presidential administration, announced that Ukraine is preparing a new generation of autonomous weapons incorporating artificial intelligence, as the FPV drone has reached its effectiveness ceiling. He stated that both sides have exhausted the potential of current control technologies, making the transition to autonomous systems necessary. Ukraine is set to unveil its autonomous armament strategy at the Kiev security forum, which continues until the end of April 2026.
