Six Taraba pilgrims die ahead of 2026 Hajj airlift to Saudi Arabia - Daily Post Nigeria

Six intending pilgrims from Taraba State scheduled for the 2026 Hajj have died before their departure to Saudi Arabia. The acting Executive Secretary of the Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Abubakar Tanko, announced that 716 pilgrims would be airlifted. Out of 738 interested individuals, only 716 completed their Hajj fare payments before the deadline. Governor Agbu Kefas urged the pilgrims to conduct themselves responsibly during the pilgrimage.
