Tabaski 2026: Fake agents from the Abidjan District arrested in Modeste

On May 8, 2026, police officers arrested several individuals at the Modeste cattle park, suspected of attempting to redirect cattle convoys to the Anyama market. These individuals, claiming to be agents of the autonomous district of Abidjan, wore vests and badges related to the Tabaski 2026 event. Four suspects were arrested, and an investigation has been launched to clarify the situation.
