Tragedies at ICS, Parliamentary Mission Sent to the Company

Two tragic accidents occurred in June at Industries Chimiques du Sénégal (ICS), resulting in two deaths and several injuries: a daily worker died after a fall, and another accident involving electrocution killed one person and injured several. A parliamentary mission composed of the Energy and Mineral Resources Commission and the Sustainable Development Commission visited the site to assess safety, working conditions, and prevention measures. Deputy Ousmane Ciss stated that the mission aims to gather information for reports to the National Assembly.
