Bissau: Main opposition leader kept under house arrest

Guinea-Bissau's main opposition leader, Domingos Simoês Pereira, head of the PAIGC, was kept under house arrest after a new hearing on Thursday before a military court over his alleged involvement in coup attempts. Benue: Gov Alia unveils 2026 fertiliser distribution exercise, subsidises product by 51%
