Several Injured After Popular Manmo Nganya Overturns on Thika Superhighway

A matatu known as Manmo overturned on Tuesday night around 10pm near Muthaiga Primary School along the Thika Superhighway in Nairobi, injuring several passengers. Witnesses blamed the driver for speeding from Moi Avenue despite repeated pleas from passengers to slow down. The Kenya Red Cross deployed emergency teams, but the exact number of injured was not immediately established. The crash comes two weeks after another matatu overturned on Enterprise Road, renewing concerns over reckless driving by PSV operators.
