The 'Laboratory of Fakes' in Medina: How the Public Treasury Lost Several Billion

An investigation by the Grand-Yoff police station uncovered a document forgery network in Medina, led by Yoro Diouf, a former tax agent. This network allowed 114 suppliers to obtain fraudulent documents to secure public contracts, resulting in financial losses for the Public Treasury. The prices for the fraudulent services ranged from 70,000 to 300,000 CFA francs over a period of about ten years.
