PFIPC: Resign now, SDP National Chairman tells Gbajabiamila

The National Chairman of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Professor Sadiq Gombe, has called for the immediate resignation of Femi Gbajabiamila, Chief of Staff to the President and chairman of the PFIPC, due to the budgetary and operational crisis rocking the council. Gombe also criticized the composition of the 12-member committee for the review of state police, noting that nine members come from one part of the country. He called for an independent probe into the allegations against Gbajabiamila and stressed the need to respect national diversity.
