NAPTIP has called for a more coordinated media response to sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV), focusing on survivor protection, public awareness, and access to justice. During a session with the Benue Media Corps, Director-General Hajia Binta Bello emphasized the media's role in responsible coverage and amplifying survivors' voices. Adekoye urged stronger collaboration between journalists and institutions involved in SGBV prevention and response. The Benue Zonal Commander, Mrs Hembadoon Theresa Kuma, highlighted efforts to produce multilingual awareness jingles to reach rural communities.
