2027: APP condemns alleged invasion of NFC town hall meeting, attack on members in Imo

The Action Peoples Party (APP) in Imo State condemned the invasion and disruption of a town hall meeting organized by the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) at Umuoyima, Owerri. A viral video showed a governor's aide and alleged thugs chasing participants away, leaving several injured. APP called on Governor Hope Uzodimma to rein in his appointees and urged the police to investigate and prosecute the perpetrators. The incident follows a previous disruption of an APP candidate's meeting in Ideato North.
