Environmental hazards: Nigeria must envision future without plastics - UNDP GEF

The UNDP GEF Small Grant Programme has urged Nigeria to envision a future without plastics. National Coordinator Ibironke Olubamise called on youths to pursue innovative solutions to eliminate plastic reliance. She also called on government, organizations, and individuals to phase out plastic usage. Olubamise acknowledged plastics remain prevalent and stressed the need to manage and repurpose them to prevent health risks.
