2026 Presidential Election in Benin: ANIP Facilitates Access to Voting Documents

The National Agency for Identification of Persons (ANIP) announced an exceptional continuous opening of its services from April 7 to 12, 2026, to facilitate access to voting documents. Citizens can obtain the CNPI at town halls and through digital services. The presidential election on April 12, 2026, will feature two main duos: the Minister of State for Economy and Finance with Mariam Chabi Talata, and Paul Hounkpè with Judicaël Hounwanou. Nearly 7.9 million voters are expected at over 17,000 polling stations.
