US trade barriers report: Customs tackles port bottlenecks

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has introduced several measures to address bottlenecks at the country's ports in response to concerns raised in the US report on trade barriers. NCS spokesperson DC Abdullahi Maiwada mentioned programs such as the Authorised Economic Operator Programme and the Advance Ruling initiative to facilitate cargo movement. Regular meetings with the American Business Council have also been established to address trade-related challenges.
