Cosmetics, food, beverages account for 50 per cent of counterfeits products —NAFDAC

NAFDAC announced that cosmetics, food, and beverages account for over 50% of counterfeit products seized. Director-General Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye stated that fake pharmaceuticals are also a major concern. The agency warns of new tactics by counterfeiters, including online ordering and cargo consolidation (groupage) to evade detection.
