Morocco has strengthened its support for the video game industry during the third edition of the Morocco Gaming Expo in Rabat, inaugurated by Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan. The government aims for a 1% share of the global video game market by 2030, with revenues estimated at $227 million in 2024. Incubation programs and a partnership with Huawei have been launched to develop the local ecosystem. The national program 'Digital Morocco 2030' aims to foster Moroccan startups valued at over one billion dollars.
