Callen Nakazwe, chairperson of the Twazwane Women’s Group, said the equipment will offer a more reliable and hygienic drying method. It is expected to help improve the quality of their kapenta.

Members of the Cocoa and Forests Initiative’s technical committee met in Abidjan on October 20, 2026, and approved priorities for 2026–2030, targeting more than CFAF 47 billion in investment.
