Solar: SAER strengthens installers’ skills in Togo

SAER-Togo members gathered in Lomé on October 20 for training in the installation, operation and maintenance of Jinko Solar’s Tiger Neo 3.0 panels. The manufacturer says the N-Type TOPCon panels can reach 670 watts and have annual degradation below 0.35%. SAER, which has 48 member companies and reports more than 20 billion CFA francs in combined revenue for 2025, also plans to establish a label to distinguish companies. The skills initiative comes as Togo prepares solar projects in Nangbéto and Dapaong and targets universal electricity access by 2030.

Nigeria’s NCC, NITDA and Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) will work together to raise awareness of cybersecurity dangers.
