NCCSALW cautions NYSC members against confronting armed persons

The National Centre for the Control of Small Arms and Light Weapons (NCCSALW) cautioned members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) against confronting armed individuals during a sensitization program in Paiko, Niger State. Lt. Col. O.K. Olagunju emphasized the dangers of the proliferation of weapons and urged young people to promote peace in their communities. He also noted that the illegal circulation of arms fuels terrorism and other forms of violence in the country.
