Live betting now generates over 60% of online sports betting revenue

Live betting accounted for 62.35% of online sports betting revenue in 2025, according to Precedence Research. Football leads with 35.27% of the global market, while tennis has the fastest CAGR at 13.83%. Micro-bets are growing three times faster than two years ago, and mobile apps handle 80% of bets. In mature markets, live betting now exceeds 70% of revenue.
