Iran slams UK plan to ban support for Revolutionary Guards

Iran condemned on Tuesday a British plan to ban support for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, calling it a hostile act contrary to international law. British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said anyone found supporting these groups would face up to 14 years in prison. The proposed law also targets proxies of Russia's GRU and the Iran-linked Islamic Movement of Companions of the Right, which has claimed attacks on Jewish properties in London. The move follows antisemitic attacks and a knife attack carried out by two Romanians at Iran's behest.
