Ituri: 12 youths arrested in Biakato after incidents targeting Ebola response

Twelve youths were arrested on October 8 in Biakato, Mandima health zone in Ituri, for threatening and throwing stones at Ebola response teams, including doctors. These arrests come amid a worsening of Ebola-related deaths and operational challenges faced by health teams. The territorial authority of Mambasa urged the local youth to cooperate and warned that any attack on response teams would be prosecuted under the law.
