Nigerian President Bola Tinubu has extended the tenures of Sylvester Ndidi Nwakuche, Controller-General of the Correctional Service, and Kemi Nanna Nandap, Comptroller-General of the Immigration Service, by 18 months. A statement from presidential adviser Bayo Onanuga said Nwakuche will remain in office until May 26, 2028, and Nandap until June 30, 2028. The extensions followed a recommendation from Interior Minister Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo. Tinubu praised reforms under their leadership and urged both officials to build on their progress.
