TSC Activates IVF Treatment Cover for Teachers Under SHA Mwalimu Scheme

The Teachers' Service Commission (TSC) has added access to In-Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) treatment for all teachers enrolled under the Social Health Authority (SHA) Mwalimu Comprehensive Cover. This service is now available at Nairobi West Hospital, an accredited facility, effective immediately from April 24, 2026. Couples must provide proof of failure to conceive for 12 months, and the female partner must be aged 41 years or below at the start of the treatment cycle.
