A suspected psychotropic drug trafficking operation has been uncovered at the Mame Abdou Aziz Sy Dabakh hospital in Tivaouane. The investigation began after a street vendor was arrested for using fake prescriptions to obtain Alpraz 1 mg. A hospital security guard was later arrested, suspected of stealing blank prescriptions and using a medical stamp to forge them. The two suspects are in custody facing charges including criminal association, forgery, theft, illegal practice of medicine, and drug law violations.
