Over 16,000 obsolete weapons destroyed since inception – Arms Control Centre

The National Centre for the Control of Small Arms and Light Weapons (NCCSALW) has destroyed over 16,000 obsolete and unserviceable weapons since its inception. A joint team of the Department of State Services (DSS) and forest guards rescued two abducted children in Kwara State, Nigeria, on July 16, 2026.
