Adjamé Market Forum: FENACCI Rejects Payment of 11 Billion to a Private Operator

Farikou Soumahoro, the Chairman of the Board of FENACCI, expressed his opposition to the payment of 11 billion CFA francs to a private operator during a press conference on April 6, 2026. He stated that this decision could have serious consequences for the merchants of the Adjamé Forum and all local market actors in Côte d'Ivoire. Soumahoro emphasized that it would set a dangerous precedent by prioritizing the interests of a private service provider over those of the merchants.
