Grand Ouragahio Social Center: Using Culture to Offer Enriching Holidays for Children

On July 7, 2026, the Grand Ouragahio Social Center, funded by UNICEF and supervised by the Ministry of Employment and Social Protection, organized a cultural activity called 'Espace Ami des Enfants de Ouragahio' to provide children with a safe space to develop their talents and discover Ivorian cultural heritage. Groups of Baoulé children from Gbetro and Sénoufo children presented traditional songs and dances in front of parents, educators, and local authorities. The initiative aims to turn school holidays into an opportunity for learning and social cohesion.
