"APC Must Go": VDM leads Abuja protest over insecurity, kidnappings

Hundreds of protesters, led by social media activist Martins Vincent Otse (VeryDarkMan), marched in Abuja on June 11, 2026, to denounce insecurity, kidnappings, and economic hardship. They chanted slogans such as "Terrorists Must Go" and "APC Must Go," accusing the government of failing to protect lives despite high security spending. VDM criticized the lack of action against criminal groups and school abductions, and lamented poor welfare conditions for security personnel.
