Since Saturday, April 11, a large influx of displaced persons fleeing armed violence in Bule, Djugu territory, has been observed in several villages of Mahagi territory. Over five hundred people reached the Ame Pamitu group after three days of walking, arriving exhausted and accompanied by livestock. Families are being hosted in vulnerable households or churches, and more waves of displaced persons are expected as the FARDC continue military operations against the CRP militia.
