At least 50,000 PWD targeted in a resilience strengthening project in Ituri

A resilience project initiated by the Provincial Division of PWD aims to support at least 50,000 persons with disabilities in the Ituri province. The program seeks to ensure their physical integrity and dignity while helping them to abandon begging by learning various trades. The representative of the Ituri governor emphasized the need for better representation of disabled persons in all sectors of social and institutional life.
