6 Brigade reaffirms security support for WAEC, INEC activities in Taraba

Brigadier General Chukwuemeka Michael Akaliro reaffirmed the 6 Brigade Nigerian Army's commitment to ensuring security for ongoing examinations in Taraba State during courtesy visits from WAEC and INEC. WAEC Controller, Mr. Agunbiade Oladele, emphasized the need for increased security presence to protect candidates and sensitive materials. INEC's Resident Electoral Commissioner, Dr. Sa’ad Umar Idris, also sought military support to ensure peaceful and transparent elections in 2027.
