President Bassirou Diomaye Faye's Unexpected Trip Postpones Cabinet Meeting

Senegalese President Bassirou Diomaye Faye traveled to Qatar on Tuesday to attend the funeral ceremonies of former Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani. Due to this unexpected trip, the weekly Cabinet meeting, usually held on Wednesdays, was postponed to Thursday. The president's return will allow the meeting to take place at the Presidential Palace, where public policy issues and government priorities will be discussed.
