Bargny: How merchant M. Ndiaye was robbed of 670 million CFA

M. Ndiaye, a merchant from Bargny, filed a complaint against A. S. Tréra, a Gambian businesswoman, for fraud. They began their business relationship in 2023, but payment delays led to a debt of 200 million CFA. In February 2026, Tréra requested a new stock of rice worth 330 million CFA without making any payment. Ndiaye estimates his total loss at 673 million 800 thousand CFA after discovering that the rice had been sold and the funds used to import goods from Europe.
