Bauchi farmers-herders clash, claim seven lives

Seven people were killed in a farmer-herder clash in Lanzai Dosho villages, Darazo local government area of Bauchi South. The police reported that the incident began on June 4, 2026, when suspected Fulani men attacked farmers. In a reprisal, youths from Lanzai set fire to about 50 huts in Dosho. The police commissioner has ordered an investigation and deployed reinforcements.
