Benin's Supreme Court suspended sanctions imposed by the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority against Laurent Dhossou Zomai, owner of Zom-Espace. He was banned from public procurement for five years and his company for two years. The suspension lasts until a final ruling on the annulment appeal. Zomai, recently appointed prefect of Zou, was to assume office on June 5, but the ceremony was postponed; it may take place on June 8 or 9.
