Robusta coffee: slight increase in price per kg in Cameroon's production basins after three months of stagnation

On June 16, 2026, the price of a kilogram of robusta coffee in Cameroon rose to between 1,275 and 1,400 FCFA, an increase of 75 to 100 FCFA according to the Sector Information System (SIF) of the National Cocoa and Coffee Office (ONCC). This increase ends three months of stagnation when prices were stuck between 1,200 and 1,300 FCFA. However, this level is still below the 1,600-1,650 FCFA recorded in early March 2026, when robusta outperformed cocoa. Since mid-March, cocoa prices have rebounded, reaching nearly 2,000 FCFA one month before the end of the campaign.
