Cameroon launches the integration of the mining and metallurgy sector

A mission from the Strategic Committee completed a four-day tour of several metal processing industrial units in Douala. Led by Dr. Tang Ahanda, the delegation visited factories belonging to the Cameroonian Organization of Metal Processing Industries (Ocitram) to assess national production and identify operators' challenges. The committee plans to conduct a similar exercise in mining companies in May 2026 to propose measures for better integration of the mining and metallurgy sector.
